Today is the release day of one of Netflix’s most important films, which feeds the constantly expanding Netflix catalogue. Bright is a thriller science fiction presenting an alternative, multi-racial version of our world.
Bright is a spectacularly stunning movie with super-star cast – the main roles are played by Will Smith, Joel Edgerton and Noomi Rapace. The picture was directed by David Ayer (known primarily from the Suicide Squad and End Of Watch), while the scriptwriter is Max Landis.
The film, which cost $90 million and could have been released in the cinema without any problems, has made its debut on Netflix, which is further proof of the industry’s major changes. It is worth noting that Bright can be seen in HDR, 4K resolution and Dolby Atmos surround sound, so if you have good equipment, you can ensure your own cinematic conditions.
Let’s add that Bright presents a world in which people, orches, elves and fairies live in parallel. The main protagonists are two cops – a man and an orc – who come across a powerful magical artefact that they must protect in order to avoid a massacre.
We have already seen the first ratings of the film, which…. are not among the highest. On Metacritic the average is 2.8/10 and on IMDb the average is 6.4/10. however, if you still want to give it a chance, you will find it on Netflix. And if you like what you see, we have good news – there will be a continuation.
